Enter an Israeli salary and this calculator applies the 2026 income tax bands, takes off the standard resident credit points, and adds National Insurance and health tax at the combined employee rates. The default case is a resident man with the minimum 2.25 credit points. At very high incomes the contributions shown run above the legal ceiling, for a reason explained below.

Income tax starts at 10% on the first ₪84,120, then rises through 14%, 20%, 31% and 35%, reaching 47% above ₪560,280. Above ₪721,560 a 3% surtax also applies, so the calculator shows that top slice as a single 50% band. Against the tax, residents get credit points worth ₪242 per point per month. The standard minimum for a resident man is 2.25 points, worth ₪6,534 a year, and that is the credit used here. A resident woman receives 2.75 points (₪7,986), and extra points for children, new immigrants and other circumstances are not included.
National Insurance and health tax are charged together. The combined employee rate is 4.27% (1.04% National Insurance plus 3.23% health tax) on monthly income up to ₪7,703, and 12.17% (7% plus 5.17%) above that. In law both contributions stop at a monthly ceiling of ₪51,910 (₪622,920 a year). The calculator keeps applying 12.17% above the ceiling, so for salaries past roughly ₪623,000 the contributions, and only the contributions, are overstated. Mandatory pension contributions under the pension extension order, commonly 6% from the employee, depend on the employment arrangement and are not modelled.
| Taxable income band | Rate |

| ₪560,280 – ₪721,560 | 47% |
| Above ₪721,560 | 50% |
Bands apply to taxable income — what is left after any allowance. A tax credit of ₪6,534 comes off the computed tax.
