Editor and researcher behind Krynto. Jacob checks the tax rates behind every calculator against official sources and keeps the country records, the comparisons and the calculation model up to date.
For each of the 111 countries on the site, the bands, allowances and contribution rates are researched from official tax authority publications first, then PwC Tax Summaries and KPMG, and recorded with the source and the date of the check. When a government changes a rate, the record is updated and its checked date moves. The current set was checked in October 2026.
